Takes one to know one.
What do I mean by takes one to know one? I grew up in a working-class family. My family made sure to instill the value of hard work, dedication, and being a decent human being. After High School, I went off to college and got my Masters in Public Administration and became a small business owner.
Those very same values of hard work, dedication, and being a decent human being are exactly what I will bring to Raleigh as your next State Senator. Raleigh isn't working for us anymore, Raleigh is only working for the top 1% and the corporations that poor millions of dollars into our local races, races like ours here in Onslow County.
It's time we change that. It's time Raleigh actually works for everyday North Carolinians.
I never thought I would run for office...
If you asked me when I graduated East Carolina University what I would be doing in a couple of years, running for office would not be on that list. But, times change and it's time we bring real change to Eastern North Carolina. I can't do this alone. I need everyone to step up and help us flip this district and make Raleigh work for us. I know times are tough now, whatever you can spare to help us make change in this district, and in North Carolina, will help us put letters in the mail and signs in people yards. I'm not accepting a dime from Corporate PACs.

Onslow County needs a fighter.
Like I mentioned above, I'm a small business owner. That experience underscores my understanding of how our economy is currently. We need to invest in our people, foster local growth, and actually fight for the working class in Onslow County.
Investing in our community means providing our kids with good public education, ensuring everyone has access to broadband (yes, even if you live down a dirt road in Richlands), and making sure everyone has access to the healthcare they deserve.
